Platelet Lysate (PL)

Platelet Lysate (PL)

SVF is an autologous product that is prepared from patients’ own adipose (fat) tissue collected by liposuction. It is a heterogeneous mixture of terminally differentiated endothelial cells, erythrocytes, fibroblasts, macrophages or other immune cells, unipotent progenitor stem cells, and also multipotent mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). Hence, SVF is a good source of multipotent and unipotent stem cells that could help to replenish the need of cells to regenerate the targeted tissues.

How Is Prepared

Preparation of SVF requires patient’s own adipose tissue (50-150 ml or as per patients need) collected by lipo-aspiration. In TotiCell Ltd, patient specific (as per indications) SVF is produced using cGMP guidelines and then administered into the patients via an ultrasound guided intra-articular injection.

FAQ

Question: What is stem cell treatment?

Stem cells have great potential as a treatment method for chronic diseases. Stem cell treatment uses two important properties of stem cells: they have self-renewal capability. And they have multi-differentiation potential. Stem cells are harvested from different sources of human body. They are useful for the maintenance of tissue as well as for repair after any degeneration or injury.

Question: What are the sources of stem cells?

Stem cells are harvested from different sources of human body such as bone marrow aspirate, adipose tissue, umbilical cord and blood. Depending upon the sources, they can be catagorized as autologous stem cell and allogeneic stem cell. Autologous stem cell refers as the cells collected from patient's own body and allogeneic stem cell referes as cells harvested from donor's body. The functions and uses of these cells depends on their sources.

Question: Which diseases can be treated with stem cell?

Stem cells are most demanded for it's use in chronic and degenerative diseases. When conventional treatment remains ineffective, stem cell treatment paves a new path there. This treatment is currently used for various degenerative neurological disorders, musculoskeletal conditions, chronic diseases such as liver cirrhosis, kidney failure, metabolic disorders, autoimmune disorders, respiratory diseases, early aging, sexual dysfunction etc.

Question: Question: What are the benefits of stem cell treatment?
